Sunday Singing

There is nothing better than being in a room full of Primary Children singing, "I'm Trying To Be Like Jesus"!! When they get to the chorus and sing it out, it is very inspiring and gives me hope for the future. The Spirit is always strong.

I thought these two girls were adorable. It was so sweet how the older sister just patiently explained that the "boy fell off his bike", she didn't get mad for being interrupted. She obviously is "trying to be like Jesus"!!.

Cindy, I loved this. I followed your links and when I got to the piano I started it over and had to open your site again so I could listen while I typed.

The personal history group is a mini-class sponsored by the Relief Society. Pam, of Pam's Place, started the first group. Actually, we have two groups, a morning one and an afternoon one and I go to both because I want to be friends with the women in both groups. I've been going for a year now and have written something every week. We started out with assigned topics but now just write about whatever we want. We read before the group and they clap and cheer, in a quiet non-clapping and non-cheering sort of way. If they can see some way to make it better they will offer a suggestion but everyone is careful not to be critical. We have a agreement not to discuss what we share outside the group. That way, as we become good friends, we can share feelings that are tender and we know they won't be bantered about.

It is nice to have a support group to laugh with and share with and who helps us do something we all need to do--write our personal history. Come on over some time.

Thanks for making my day. I'm sure I will come back to this video over and over again. Who knows? I may even figure out how to store it in a folder. But lets not get ahead of ourselves!
