God's Hands

Sometimes we are God's Hands on earth. That hit home to me yesterday. It was our Ward Conference. (Once a year in every congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day they have a special conference Sunday, and our local leaders speak to us and offer training). As part of the conference we raised our hands to sustain our Prophet and other General Authories and our local leadership. Our raised hands signify that we will help and support our leaders. Each will do all they can do see the work of the Lord moves forward within our little group of Heavenly Father's children.

Someone said that, the Lord works in mysterious ways. One of those ways is that he works through us as mortals to bring about His perfect work. It's very humbling to be God's Hands.

I saw something someone had written today, "Life is easy when you love what you do." And I thought, that's all wrong. It should be, "Life is easy when you love the Lord."

My favorite Stake Confernece meeting is on Saturday night. I'm betting yours is too.
