Today is Middle Name Pride Day. The challenge we were given was to tell three people, who didn't already know, our middle name. So, hopeful there will be three of you, at least, reading this who didn't know.
I have never known anyone named Alice, have you?? I'm still appalled that my given name comes from a pin-up girl. However, my middle name is the name of my mother's best friend mother, Alice Nelson. Alice was like a mother to my mother. I wonder what ever happened to her. I don't remember ever meeting her, but I am sure that would have been lovely.

Ok I'm obviously tired. :) I had to delete my post because I re-read it and it didn't make sense. :) I have no middle name. Alice is kind of a nice one to have though.

I like your middle name. I do have a dear friend Alice. She is everything an Angel Alice should be and then some.

I have known a few Alice's. They all are wonderful ladies.
My middle name is Lynne. I used to hate it when I was younger. I don't know why, but I never wanted anyone to know what it was. As I got older I grew to like it.
This name celebrating thing has been pretty fun.
I too don't have a middle name. I think we should be allowed to pick our own. I wonder what Aprilyn would pick? And why do a plethera of people have Lynn or Lynne as middle names? Maybe I'll choose a first name and put Lynne in second place.
