The Birds

Have you ever seen Alfred Hitchcock's thriller,

"The Birds"
??

We seem to be having a problem with crows this summer. The morning and evening air is filled with their never ceasing and very irritating caw caw caw!!

This is my neighbors yard across the street from me. Notice all the crows hiding in the tree branches.

This year the crows seem to be a little bit out of control. Their numbers have increased dramatically.

This is my backyard tree, Ashley. (Andrew named my trees). These crows seem to be stalking me? Am I paranoid??

They seem to be reproducing at the rate of our furry rabbit friends. What do you think I should do?? It is starting to freak me out a little bit.

Don't get me wrong, I really do love birds. I love the little finches and hummers and doves and sparrows that visit my yard. The crows just look and sound menacing.

Ephraim loved watching the bird clip over and over again. I think that would be pretty freaky seeing all those crows.

I think that was the longest movie trailer I have ever seen! Pretty funny! I hope the crows are not scaring away the other birds.

That show scared the heck out of me when I was a kid. I hope you get your bird problem solved soon! HEY BIRDS!!! YOU LEAVE ASHLEY ALONE! OH, and while you're at it, LEAVE CINDY ALONE TOO!

LOL!! Thanks, Aprilyn, I feel much better now that you yelled at the birds for me!!

How very vile! Mom, did you read the Vile Village in a Series of Unfortunate Events? I always disliked crows. Every year it seemed like there were more and more in your neighborhood. I wonder how you could get rid of them.

No, April, I have not read that book. I'm not sure I want to, what do you think??

If you're asking me if you should read the book... What are you crazy? Of course not! No one should read those books. They come with an advisory not to read them you know. You should send the book through a shredder, then burn the strips and lock the ashes in a safe and bury it 50 feet under the ground in the middle of death valley.
This particular book is particularly unfortunate. The children are adopted by a town that practically worships those vile crows. The poor children are forced to do chores for everyone in this crow infested town.
