"Oh, by the way, this is NOT an April's Fools joke!" That's what Mike told me right before he shared the wonderful news that when some of the Boy Scouts helped him to move our wood pile, a mama rat and two babies scurried out. Good thing I wasn't home. YIKES!!! I wonder where they went?? I guess I better not think about it took hard.

Years ago we had a rat who lived in our nice warm compost pile all winter. Warmth and dinner, all in one spot.
Good luck with NOT seeing them again. Ever.
I would have scurried out even more quickly !
